Overview- We are seeking a hands-on finance professional with strong expertise in costing, monthly close, and ERP systems. The ideal candidate will lead a small team of two, ensuring accurate reporting, efficient close cycles, and insightful financial analysis. This role requires substantial exposure to forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing, with a focus on driving clarity and accountability across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a two-person accounting team, fostering collaboration and accuracy in all deliverables
- Manage monthly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Oversee costing activities, ensuring accurate allocation of expenses and alignment with company policies
- Partner with business leaders to support forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing cycles
- Ensure transactions are reported in accordance with GAAP and company standards
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews, including preparation of financial statements and notes
- Utilize SAP or other large ERP systems to streamline reporting, improve efficiency, and enhance data integrity
- Provide management with clear analysis of expense variances and actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- 3 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with emphasis on costing and month-end close
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent experience)
- CPA preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading small teams and driving process improvements
- Strong proficiency with SAP or other large ERP platforms
- Analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
