Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts within the construction industry. The Project Coordinator will assist in coordinating various project activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and management of project schedules, construction management software. ordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare and review contracts, schematics, and blueprints for accuracy.
- Utilize HCSS and our file system for document management and communication among team
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during the construction phase.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and correspondence.
- Facilitate meetings with project teams to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on construction sites.
Experience - Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of experience as a Project Coordinator.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Excel/Outlook/Powerpoint.
- Ability to read blueprints and create red-lines or as-builts.
- Knowledge of project scheduling techniques and tools is essential.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or similar field of study.
- Experience in Locusview is a plus.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Proven experience in project coordination or management within the construction gas industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Heavy Bid and Heavy Job is a plus.
- Experience with reading designs, civil engineering concepts, and construction site practices is highly valued.
