Schedule:
- Monday-Friday: 5:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M.
Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of diesel technicians and support staff
- Oversee daily operations and implement strategic maintenance plans
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Coordinate roadside assistance and emergency response plans
- Monitor and evaluate team performance using data-driven reports
- Manage parts inventory and ordering using VMRS coding
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Collaborate with the Warranty Department to process claims efficiently
- Maintain accurate records using a Fleet Management Information System (FMIS)
- Ensure daily completion of digital DVIRs
- Stay compliant with FMCSA/DOT regulations
- Work closely with Terminal Management, Dispatch, and Corporate Leadership
Fleet Maintenance Manager Qualification:
- 1 or more years of experience managing commercial fleet maintenance required.
- 3 years of experience managing commercial fleet maintenance preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and FMIS software
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
