The Job
- Troubleshoot and diagnose plant equipment problems
- Make mechanical repairs and installs
- Work on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
- Read and revise mechanical and electrical prints
- Handle fabrication projects
- Follow Lock Out/Tag Out and keep safety devices working
- Log all work orders in the CMMS
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic and other mechanical systems
- Work a rotating swing shift, plus overtime and weekends as needed
- Lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for most of the shift
- OK in a loud, dusty plant with required PPE
- Pass a drug screen, a one-hour physical fitness test and a background check
