HVAC Service Technician

Pay Range: $56,000-$80,000 (Hourly Bonus)

Senior Technicians are eligible for a $5,000 Sign on Bonus, and Junior Technicians are eligible for a $2,500 Sign on Bonus (Both are paid in installments).

Responsibilities:

• Boilers – High efficiency, steam, and tankless systems. Maintain and replace major components. Set controls for commissioning (start-up).
• Electrical – Follow schematics and advanced controls. Trace voltage through generators and inverters. Advanced thermostat settings and adjustments. Advanced generator diagnostics and repairs.
• Airflow – Balance ducted systems to boost performance. Set zoning levels and evaluate ductwork.
• Combustion – Ability to adjust individual inputs to effect output. Ability to measure and interpret venting.
• Efficiency – Ability to offer and install comfort and efficiency add-ons.
• Diagnostics – Locate and repair trouble calls from all units we service. Identify the root source of nuisance issues.
• Maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements.
• Assisting with customers’ queries

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of Residential HVAC experience (EPA & NATE Certification is a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License, and possess and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Must have and maintain hand tools of the trade.
• Must be able to multitask and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through ability.
• Highly motivated, self-starter who is flexible and has a positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills are required.
