About JOGO Health

JOGO Health is a digital therapeutics company using surface electromyography (sEMG) biofeedback and neuroplasticity-based interventions to help patients manage chronic conditions.

We are expanding our nationwide telehealth program and are seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers interested in providing remote sEMG biofeedback and behavioral pain-management services for patients with migraine and chronic low back pain.

Clinicians will use the JOGO sEMG Biofeedback system and standardized JOGO treatment protocols developed in collaboration with researchers at Harvard Medical School-affiliated institutions.

No Prior EMG Biofeedback Experience Required

JOGO Health will provide training and certification at NO COST to the clinician.

Selected clinicians will receive comprehensive training in:

• Surface EMG (sEMG) biofeedback
• JOGO technology and remote patient monitoring
• JOGO migraine treatment protocol
• JOGO chronic low back pain protocol
• Identification of muscle tension and stress-related muscle activation
• Patient education regarding pain, stress, and muscle tension
• Relaxation and self-regulation techniques
• Diaphragmatic breathing
• Progressive muscle relaxation
• Pain neuroscience education
• Behavioral approaches to chronic pain management
• Telehealth delivery of sEMG biofeedback
• Clinical documentation and treatment workflows

Upon successful completion of the training program, clinicians will be JOGO-certified to provide sEMG biofeedback using JOGO protocols within their professional scope of practice.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will:

• Conduct remote telehealth assessments and treatment sessions
• Provide sEMG biofeedback using the JOGO platform
• Work with patients experiencing migraine, chronic low back pain, and other chronic pain conditions
• Help patients recognize relationships between stress, pain, muscle tension, and muscle activation
• Teach behavioral strategies for managing chronic pain
• Provide pain neuroscience education and appropriate behavioral interventions
• Guide patients through relaxation, diaphragmatic breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and self-regulation exercises
• Use real-time sEMG feedback to help patients recognize and voluntarily reduce excessive muscle tension
• Support adherence to JOGO home treatment programs
• Monitor patient-reported outcomes and progress
• Document treatment sessions in accordance with clinical, payer, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with JOGO's clinical, medical, and rehabilitation teams when appropriate
• Refer patients to appropriate medical or rehabilitation professionals when issues fall outside the clinician's scope of practice
  

Qualifications

Candidates must:

• Hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited program
• Hold an active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent independent clinical social work license in at least one U.S. state
• Be authorized to provide independent clinical services within their licensed state
• Be comfortable providing care through telehealth
• Have strong patient communication, counseling, and education skills
• Be interested in innovative approaches to chronic pain management, behavioral health, biofeedback, and digital therapeutics

Previous EMG or biofeedback experience is NOT required.

JOGO will provide the necessary training and certification FREE of charge.

About the Treatment

JOGO uses wearable surface EMG sensors that allow patients and clinicians to see muscle activity in real time.

Patients learn to recognize excessive or inappropriate muscle activation associated with pain, stress, and movement patterns. Through visual biofeedback, patient education, relaxation strategies, and repeated practice, patients learn to develop greater voluntary control over muscle activity.

For behavioral health clinicians, sEMG biofeedback can be combined with interventions such as pain neuroscience education, relaxation training, diaphragmatic breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, stress management, and other behavioral approaches to chronic pain.

The goal is to help patients improve self-regulation, reduce maladaptive muscle tension, and develop skills that can support long-term management of chronic pain.

Licensure Requirement

Applicants must currently hold an active, unrestricted LCSW or equivalent independent clinical social work license in at least one U.S. state.

Clinicians licensed in multiple states are strongly encouraged to apply.

Clinical services must be provided in accordance with the clinician's scope of practice, state licensure requirements, telehealth regulations, and applicable payer requirements.
