What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Line/Grill Cook position at Joe and Sam's Cafe?
Joe and Sam's Cafe is looking for a dependable, hardworking part-time line/grill cook to join our growing team! If you enjoy preparing fresh, high-quality, made-to-order food in a fast-paced environment and take pride in your work, we'd love to meet you! Cooking experience preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate is a reliable team-player, organized, professional, appreciates creativity, doesn't need to be micromanaged and has a sense of humor! Requirements include, but aren't limited to... prepare breakfast and lunch menu items according to recipes and quality standards; operate grill, meat slicer and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; maintain a clean, organized and sanitary workstation; assist with food prep, stocking and inventory as needed; ensure food is prepared, labeled and served in a timely manner; follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines; work closely with FOH team to provide excellent customer service; communicate effectively. Must have Saturday and afternoon/evening availability. Pay based on experience. Opportunities to grow within the cafe!
