Sr. Manager / Director of Product Innovation – BEAUTY & PERSONAL CARE
Jocott Brands — a fast-paced, entrepreneurial consumer products company — is seeking a highly creative, design-forward Product Innovation leader to join our team.
This is not a traditional product development role. We are looking for a trend-obsessed, commercially minded creative who can rapidly concept new brands and product lines across beauty, personal care, wellness, home fragrance/cleaning, and pet care.
Jocott Brands is a leading supplier to off-price and specialty retail, including TJX Companies (T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods), as well as Amazon and other global channels. Our pace is fast, our expectations are high, and our success is driven by speed, taste level, and execution.
The ideal candidate has a strong point of view on design, packaging, naming, and storytelling — and thrives in a high-volume, rapid-iteration environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and pitch new brands, product lines, and line extensions that reflect trend relevance, competitive whitespace, and strong consumer appeal
- Lead creative development across product naming, packaging direction, positioning, and claims strategy
- Build product briefs and inspiration decks for internal development and customer presentations
- Identify and translate emerging trends, viral moments, ingredient stories, and format innovation into commercially viable concepts
- Partner cross-functionally (PD, Sourcing, Sales) to bring ideas from concept to shelf quickly and effectively
- Continuously generate a high volume of ideas across multiple categories and price tiers
Qualifications
- Highly creative and fast-thinking — with the ability to ideate across skincare, haircare, body care, fragrance, nails, men’s grooming, wellness, and beyond
- Strong design sensibility and taste level; ability to translate trends into clear, executable product concepts
- Please include examples of concept work, trend boards, inspiration decks, or creative briefs
- 5 years of experience in product innovation, brand development, or marketing within beauty or consumer products
- Demonstrated ability to develop ideas that translate into commercial success at retail
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, iterative environment with shifting priorities
- Strong awareness of social media, trend cycles, and emerging brands (TikTok fluency a plus)
- Experience with off-price, mass, or value-driven retail channels is a plus
