Senior Cost Accountant
Location: Fully Onsite

Position Overview
Seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to support inventory valuation, cost accounting operations, financial reporting, and manufacturing analysis in a fast-paced environment. This role partners closely with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate costing, reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage standard inventory costing processes
- Support month-end and year-end close activities related to costing and inventory
- Perform variance analysis, overhead analysis, reconciliations, and inventory reporting
- Prepare operational reports, including labor, purchase price variance, and cost analysis
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve accounting and operational issues
- Assist with audit schedules and financial reporting requirements
- Manage annual cost updates and LIFO reserve schedules
- Support transfer pricing activities and finance projects
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in cost accounting
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard cost systems
- ERP experience required (JDE preferred)
- Advanced analytical and Excel skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
