The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships in their assigned territory. This role involves working closely with channel partners, prospecting enterprise and mid-market customers, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver solutions that align with companys' value proposition of True AI / cloud-native security and IoT analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to achieve or exceed revenue targets in your region.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities (especially in target verticals: retail, healthcare, education, real estate).
- Manage sales pipeline: prospecting, demos, negotiation, contracting.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to upsell/cross-sell and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Work with channel partners / resellers / systems integrators where applicable to expand reach.
- Act as liaison between prospects/customers and internal teams (product, engineering, support) to ensure feedback is captured and solutions are delivered to meet customer needs.
- Run product presentations, demos, proof of concepts (POCs), and assist in customizing offerings to specific customer environments.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and gather feedback to influence product roadmap.
- Forecast sales performance; report on metrics and progress; maintain CRM system.
- Travel as needed within the region for customer meetings, trade shows, and events.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. (Master's or MBA preferred but not required.)
- Proven sales experience in software / SaaS / cloud / AI / video analytics or security technology sectors.
- Demonstrated success in quota attainment, closing mid to large deals.
- Experience in the relevant verticals (healthcare, retail, real estate, education, etc.) a plus.
- Ability to understand technical solutions (AI, cloud, IoT, video analytics) and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, hybrid / edge-to-cloud deployments.
- Familiarity with multi-vendor camera / sensor / IoT ecosystems. Ability to sell device-agnostic solutions.
- Ability to convey value in cost savings (lower TCO), improved operational intelligence, and security/compliance.
- Strong analytical skills: use data / metrics to drive decisions, monitor performance.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
