Job Description:
Position Summary

The Facilities Maintenance position is responsible for the overall effective operation and upkeep of the company’s facilities. This hands-on role involves performing a variety of indoor and outdoor general maintenance duties and completing assigned work orders. Core responsibilities include conducting monthly safety checks, performing essential plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs, and providing support for general cleaning and special event preparations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Indoor and outdoor facilities maintenance.
• Perform monthly maintenance and safety checks in buildings, machinery, and equipment
• Perform plumbing, HVAC and electrical repairs.
• Assist with general cleaning as needed.
• Assist with setting up special events or luncheons
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• General handyman experience is required, including knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and building trades.
• Experience with the general repair and maintenance of buildings and grounds, including the maintenance and repair of plumbing and electrical systems.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 years of related general repair experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (if needed).
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining safety at all times while on the job.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequent lifting of heavy materials, tools, and equipment is required. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
• Requires significant physical endurance. This role includes significant time standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
• May need to climb ladders or scaffolding to access different work areas.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are essential for using hand tools, operating machinery, and performing detailed tasks.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles as needed, requiring sustained mental alertness, clear vision, and the physical coordination to navigate safely between locations.
