Serve as the primary technical specialist supporting Zero Trust Architecture analysis and implementation activities.
Perform detailed gap analyses across all five ZTA pillars in coordination with Contractor Task Manager: Identity, Devices, Networks, Applications & Workloads, and Data.
Develop technical recommendations, implementation approaches, and integration strategies to close identified Zero Trust gaps.
Support the design of business processes that can be implemented within the Client s security infrastructure and integrated with Zero Trust tools and workflows.
Work with program leadership to translate technical findings into executable plans, dependencies, and engineering tasks.
Assess capabilities, integrations, and architectural options needed to advance SSA toward its target Zero Trust state.
Support agency ZTA reporting by validating technical inputs, implementation metrics, and pillar-specific progress.
Participate in meetings with the Client s teams, DHS/CISA, and integrators to represent technical findings and implementation considerations. Develop technical documentation, analysis products, and training materials supporting ZTA activities.
Provide subject matter expertise across all pillars, with the ability to go deeper where SSA priorities require.
Required Qualification:
Bachelor s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical discipline.
Demonstrated experience supporting Zero Trust Architecture, enterprise security engineering, or cybersecurity architecture initiatives.
Solid understanding and working knowledge of all five ZTA pillars: Identity, Devices, Networks, Applications & Workloads, and Data.
Experience performing technical gap analysis and supporting implementation planning for Zero Trust capabilities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess architecture, controls, integrations, and operational processes.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical requirements and findings in both written and verbal form.
Ability to support project managers and stakeholders with technically sound recommendations and implementation considerations.
Experience with business process analysis, technical documentation, and cross-functional coordination in a complex environment.
Preferred Qualification:
Experience supporting federal cybersecurity architecture, Zero Trust implementation, or continuous monitoring programs.
Knowledge of PM and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and MS Project.
Familiarity with enterprise security tooling spanning identity, endpoint, network, application, and data protection domains.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security , cloud security certifications, or Zero Trust-related training.
Experience supporting technical briefings, architecture reviews, and implementation roadmaps.
