Day-to-Day Job Duties
- Administer, maintain, and support the PTC Windchill platform and Creo applications.
- Provide technical support for CAD engineering applications across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and packaging engineering domains.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve user-reported application and system issues.
- Manage user provisioning, access requests, role assignments, and software license administration.
- Coordinate with software vendors for issue resolution, product updates, and platform upgrades.
- Collaborate with offshore support resources to ensure smooth day-to-day Windchill operations and support coverage.
- Support application upgrades, patch deployments, testing activities, and technical documentation updates.
- Monitor and manage incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with service-level expectations.
- Work closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide application support.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for engineering application support processes and system reliability.
- 8 years of experience supporting PTC Windchill and engineering/CAD applications.
- 1 years hands-on experience administering and supporting Creo environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and end-user support skills.
- Experience with user access management, provisioning, and software license administration.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering teams, business users, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience coordinating with or working alongside offshore/global support teams.
- Experience supporting application upgrades, patching, testing, and release activities.
- Experience with CAD-to-PLM integrations.
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and engineering change management.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based service management and support processes.
- Experience supporting global engineering organizations and distributed teams.
- Understanding of engineering design workflows across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and packaging disciplines.
