Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled WebLogic Administrator to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will go beyond basic server maintenance, bringing a strong understanding of Oracle SOA Suite, Java troubleshooting, and SQL backend management to ensure our enterprise applications are high-performing, scalable and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server (12c/14c) and Oracle SOA Suite environments.
- Deployment: Manage the end-to-end deployment process for Java-based applications (EAR/WAR files) and SOA composites.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize JVM settings, thread pools, and connection pools to ensure peak application performance.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex technical issues across the stack, from Java heap dumps to SQL query bottlenecks.
- Automation: Develop scripts (WLST, Python, or Shell) to automate routine administrative tasks and environment provisioning.
- Database Integration: Manage Data Sources and persistent stores, ensuring seamless connectivity between the middleware and SQL databases.
- Middleware: Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, OSB).
- Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in Java/J2EE for log analysis and debugging, plus WLST or Python for automation.
- Database: Strong knowledge of SQL (Oracle or SQL Server) for backend data validation and performance troubleshooting.
- Operating Systems: Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting and command-line navigation.
- Networking: Understanding of Load Balancers (F5), SSL/TLS certificate management, and DNS.
- Experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring.
