This is a true player coach role. You set strategy and ship work. One day you re defining positioning for a new vertical. The next you re writing copy, launching campaigns, and reallocating spend based on real performance data. What You ll Own
Demand Generation
- Paid media, performance marketing, CRO, newsletters, and partnerships
- Budget ownership with clear attribution and ROI discipline
- Comfort showing the math behind every dollar spent
- How the company shows up in the market
- Category narrative, messaging, and creative direction
- Clear articulation of why the product matters and to whom
- Website, landing pages, campaigns, and thought leadership
- Hands-on creation early; team building over time
- Build a practitioner-led creator network
- Authentic storytelling around relationship driven selling
- Industry specific messaging and targeting
- Packaging offers for highest performing segments
- Hire and lead a small, high output marketing team over the next 6 12 months
- Early stage startup experience (sub?50 employees)
- Product led growth expertise PLG funnels, self-serve conversion, PQLs, bottoms up sales motions
- Demand brand fluency you operate comfortably on both sides
- AI native operator AI is part of your daily workflow for content, research, analysis, and optimization
- Transactional / consumption based model experience (ecommerce, marketplace, or similar a strong plus)
- Exceptional writing ability positioning, campaigns, investor comms, and strong social copy
- Local commitment Middle Tennessee-based, in-office 4 days/week at the Franklin HQ
- B2B creator / influencer marketing experience
- Experience scaling a company past $100M in revenue
