Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC on AWS) Engineer with strong expertise in VMware hybrid cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting VMware Cloud on AWS environments, including NSX-T, vSphere, vSAN, HCX, and VMware Cloud Foundation.

• NSX-T (Routing, DFW, Micro-Segmentation, NAT, VPN, BGP/OSPF)
• VMware vSAN
• HCX Migration Technologies (vMotion, Bulk Migration, RAV, Cold Migration)
• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• Strong Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, VPN, NAT)
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Advanced Troubleshooting
• AWS Services (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, IAM)
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC) environments.
• Implement and support NSX-T networking and security solutions.
• Plan and execute workload migrations using HCX.
• Integrate on-prem VMware infrastructure with AWS services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware hybrid cloud environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Support upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management activities.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cloud, network, and security teams on cloud transformation initiatives.

Experience Required:

• 8 years of VMware Infrastructure experience.
• 3 years of VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC on AWS) experience.
• Strong experience in enterprise hybrid cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with VMware migrations, networking, and cloud integrations.
  
  

This role is ideal for a VMware Cloud expert who can lead deployments, migrations, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise VMware Cloud on AWS environments.
