Description
We are looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer to join our client's team in Country Club Hills, Illinois. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in crafting seamless and engaging user experiences for digital platforms. Your expertise in UX/UI design tools and techniques will be essential in delivering innovative solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces using tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications to communicate design ideas effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to align design strategies with project objectives.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve design quality.
Analyze user feedback and data to refine designs and enhance overall user satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design to ensure innovative solutions.
Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and user expectations.
Address technical constraints and find creative solutions to deliver functional designs.
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to improve outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional UX/Product Design experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in Figma or similar design tools
- Portfolio featuring end-to-end case studies with successful digital products and platforms
- Experience conducting user research and synthesizing insights for SaaS or digital platforms
- Solid understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines, with proven experience incorporating accessibility best practices into your design process
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS for communicating and collaborating with development teams
- Experience contributing to design systems and delivering accessible solutions, including color-blind/user-centered options developed during the design phase
