Senior UI Developer / Front-End Engineer
We are seeking a Senior UI Developer / Front-End Engineer to build modern, high-performance search experiences used across internal and public-facing platforms. This role will focus on developing scalable, reusable UI components and delivering intuitive search interfaces for a large enterprise environment.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on front-end engineering role focused on building modern web applications that support high-traffic, enterprise-grade search platforms. You will work on reusable component libraries, themeable UI systems, and performant search interfaces used across multiple applications and brands.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern front-end applications using frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular
- Build and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems
- Develop themeable/white-label UI components supporting multiple brands, styles, and modes (e.g., dark/light themes)
- Integrate front-end applications with REST and OpenSearch APIs
- Optimize UI performance for large-scale, high-traffic applications
- Improve rendering efficiency and search experience performance
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams
- Contribute to UX improvements for enterprise and public-facing search platforms
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred; React/Angular also acceptable)
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Experience building and maintaining design systems and reusable UI component libraries
- Experience developing themeable or configurable UI components for multi-brand platforms
- Strong experience consuming APIs (REST/OpenSearch); no backend development required
- Proven expertise in UI performance optimization for large-scale applications
- Experience working in high-traffic production environments
- Experience building search-focused user interfaces
- Familiarity with enterprise search platforms such as Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
- Exposure to semantic search or AI-driven search experiences
- Experience building chat-style or conversational search interfaces
- Background supporting applications with millions of users or high query volumes
- Modern search experiences for enterprise and public-facing platforms
- Internal search systems supporting large-scale organizational needs
- Shared search components used across multiple websites
- Potential contributions to advanced data/search platforms such as economic data systems
- Highly collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Strong emphasis on clean UI/UX and performance
