Technical Release Train Engineer

Description:

We're looking for a Technical Release Train Engineer to guide and optimize our Agile Release Train (ART) within a fast-paced, highly regulated financial services environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology delivery, cross-team coordination, and continuous improvement - and who brings both structure and creativity to complex enterprise programs.

What You'll Do

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of features across the Agile Release Train, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions to keep teams aligned and moving forward.
• Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, and Compliance to remove impediments and maintain a predictable delivery cadence.
• Drive continuous improvement across teams by identifying bottlenecks, optimizing flow, and promoting Agile best practices.
• Oversee release readiness, risk management, and dependency tracking across multiple teams and platforms.
• Ensure technical and operational excellence by collaborating closely with engineering leads on integration, testing, and deployment strategies.
• Support transparency and communication through clear reporting, metrics, and stakeholder updates.
  
  

What You Bring

• Experience as a Release Train Engineer, Program Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (SAFe preferred) and hands-on experience facilitating large-scale Agile ceremonies.
• Technical fluency - comfortable discussing architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and integration patterns.
• Proven ability to navigate financial services environments, including risk, compliance, and regulatory considerations.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• A passion for building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
