Job Description:

Technical Program Manager IV

Location: Menlo Park, California (Onsite Preferred/Remote within PST)

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $120 - $132 hourly

Duration: 6 months

Role Overview

This role involves leading the end-to-end coordination of complex, cross-functional corporate transactions, from deal execution through to operationalization. The Technical Program Manager will serve as a central point of contact across various teams, responsible for driving timelines, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and providing leadership reporting from the evaluation phase through post-close readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the master deal timeline, project plan, RACI, and central tracker, including core documents, key decisions, and change management.
  • Define and manage the cadence for leadership updates, working team meetings, and status reporting.
  • Launch and maintain deal data rooms, managing access, structure, and document uploads in response to information requests.
  • Drive more frequent touchpoints and monitor for escalations during active auction periods.
  • Develop and maintain an operationalization plan from signing through Day 1 readiness.
  • Coordinate across more than twelve cross-functional teams on entity setup, systems configuration, and close process integration.
  • Proactively identify and flag risks, blockers, and dependencies.
  • Lead retrospectives and build reusable playbooks to scale processes for future transactions.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education.

Experience: 8 years of program or project management experience with exposure to complex corporate transactions such as M&A or partnerships. Experience managing cross-functional workstreams across Finance, Legal, Accounting, Tax, and Operations is required, along with experience with data rooms, diligence processes, and deal timelines.

Skills:

  • Structured thinking with attention to detail.
  • Strong facilitation skills for kickoffs, standups, and executive readouts.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous situations and adapt plans as inputs change.
  • Capacity to drive accountability across teams without direct authority.
  • Written and verbal communication skills appropriate for executive-level audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions at different stages.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and a strong understanding of financial close processes, entity setup, and intercompany accounting.
