Role Overview
The main function of a Technical Program Manager is to provide successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across a group of projects and related activities. This role involves program-level strategic planning, interaction with executive-level management, and complex issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Education: A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience: Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment is necessary. The candidate must have experience with the software development lifecycle.

- Manage a group or groups of internal and matrixed employees and contractors to deliver systems and systems enhancements.
- Oversee project scope definition and management, requirements gathering, time estimating, and project schedule development.
- Handle project budget management, project status reporting, and issue and risk management.
- Lead contingency planning, customer interaction, and communications across multiple organizational levels.

- Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and work well with business partners at different levels.
- Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications and business functions.
- Proven people management and team-building skills are required.
- An MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred.
- PMP or PMI certification is preferred.
