Seeking a highly technical project Manager / Program Manager to lead delivery of backend microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native platform capabilities. The TPM will work closely with engineering and architecture teams to participate in design discussions, review solution approaches, and ensure high-quality execution across multiple Agile teams
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to review and contribute to microservices designs, system architecture, integration patterns, and API specifications.
- Lead delivery of backend services, cloud components, data workflows, and cross-team engineering initiatives.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, track dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure clarity of scope and timelines across engineering teams.
- Translate technical requirements into actionable plans and maintain strong alignment between engineering, product, and operations.
- Ensure solutions follow best practices for scalability, reliability, observability, and security.
- Drive transparent communication, including status reporting, risk management, and cross-functional stakeholder updates.
- Strong understanding of Java/Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
- Ability to read and evaluate technical design documents, architectural diagrams, sequence flows, and service interactions.
- 5 years of technical project/program management or engineering leadership experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud Platform), CI/CD pipelines, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication, technical judgment, and stakeholder management skills.
