Role: Technical Lead / Architect – React Native Mobile Applications & Agentic AI

Location: Dearborn, MI (Onsite)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead / Architect to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade mobile applications built on React Native for both iOS and Android platforms. This role requires a hands-on technology leader who can define scalable mobile architecture, lead engineering best practices, and integrate advanced Agentic AI capabilities into customer-facing digital products.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background owning production mobile architecture, implementing AI-driven workflows, and delivering secure, high-performance applications used by large user bases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end architecture and development of React Native mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and secure mobile solutions with strong focus on performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Architect and implement Agentic AI capabilities including autonomous workflows, intelligent orchestration, contextual decision-making, and AI-driven interactions.
• Integrate LLM-powered services and AI APIs into mobile ecosystems and backend-connected workflows.
• Establish mobile engineering standards covering code quality, modular architecture, testing strategies, and release governance.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX, QA, and backend engineering teams to deliver production-ready mobile solutions.
• Drive CI/CD adoption for automated build, testing, deployment, and release management across mobile platforms.
• Conduct architecture reviews, mentor development teams, and provide technical leadership throughout the SDLC.
• Oversee native integrations including push notifications, deep linking, device APIs, and platform-specific capabilities.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on expertise in React Native with proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale production mobile applications.
• Demonstrated ownership of mobile application architecture including scalability, resiliency, observability, security, and maintainability.
• Extensive experience building customer-facing mobile applications deployed in enterprise or high-traffic environments.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with deep understanding of mobile application design patterns and state management.
• Hands-on implementation experience with Agentic AI systems, intelligent orchestration engines, or autonomous AI-driven application workflows.
• Practical experience integrating LLMs and AI services into mobile or distributed application ecosystems.
• Solid experience implementing secure authentication using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect for mobile platforms.
• Expertise in mobile testing methodologies including unit, integration, and automation testing using frameworks such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, and Detox.
• Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications including automated testing and deployment workflows.
• Strong understanding of native mobile integrations for iOS and Android including deep linking, push notifications, and device-level APIs.
• Proven technical leadership experience including mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and driving engineering best practices.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building Node.js-based backend-for-frontend (BFF) services or AI orchestration layers.
• Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
• Knowledge of mobile application security best practices including certificate pinning, secure storage, and runtime protection.
• Exposure to AI/cloud ecosystems on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience working within agile delivery environments and cross-functional product teams.
