Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a team supporting customer service representatives. This role is central to providing a single source of information to address customer queries. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for conversion to a full-time role based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Experience: 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a technical aptitude. Proven experience in the health insurance domain is required, including an understanding of industry-specific terms and processes. Experience with large-scale Agile programs is also necessary.
Technical Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform data mapping from backend sources to target systems. A foundational understanding of programming concepts and knowledge of API usage, documentation standards, and data formats is required.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
- Translate high-level business capabilities into detailed requirements, including data mapping specifications and workflow designs.
- Work at the intersection of architecture, product, and integration design.
- Contribute to defining epics and features to capture business intent.
- Partner with architects on solution design and integration, defining data mapping requirements.
- Support scrum teams by translating requirements into actionable user stories.
- Create process and data flow diagrams to support technical and business requirements.
- Develop and maintain field-level mapping spreadsheets and related documentation.
