Job Summary

This role is critical to advancing DCMS, GenAI, and CTO Architecture objectives. As the organization enters a new phase of AI-augmented architecture, infrastructure automation, and Architecture as Code (AaC), this position will design, build, and operationalize next-generation architecture patterns, automation workflows, and governance tooling.

You will operate as a hands-on architect and engineer, directly embedding AI-enabled architecture into developer workflows, strengthening governance at scale, and accelerating safe GenAI adoption across the enterprise while maintaining regulatory, security, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Augmented & GenAI Architecture

• Design and prototype AI-augmented architecture patterns, including GenAI and agentic workflows
• Implement LLM-based reasoning for architecture validation, design decision support, and governance automation
• Build hands-on proofs of concept (POCs) that improve:
• Architecture observability
• Governance enforcement
• Platform and system intelligence
• Contribute to AI architecture standards, specifications, and governance models

Architecture as Code (AaC) & Automation

• Build and automate Architecture as Code using Structurizr and C4 modeling
• Develop:
• Scripts and generators
• Model pipelines
• CI/CD-integrated architecture validation
• Embed architecture directly into developer workflows, rather than standalone review artifacts

Architecture Governance & DCMS Enablement

• Produce high-quality architecture deliverables for DCMS and SRP processes
• Perform deep, hands-on governance enforcement:
• Validate architecture submissions
• Correct design gaps
• Improve consistency across teams
• Drive a standardized, developer-friendly architecture experience across DCMS

Cloud Onboarding & Platform Architecture

• Lead Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) onboarding with hands-on build support
• Support:
• PAA onboarding
• Local development environment patterns
• SDLC tooling integration
• Templates and reusable accelerators
• Ensure cloud adoption aligns with enterprise security, risk, and compliance standards

Enterprise Patterns & Reference Architectures

• Evolve enterprise architecture patterns and Archetype 2.0
• Deliver:
• Code templates
• Reference implementations
• Prototype applications demonstrating best practices
• Translate architecture standards into working, consumable assets, not just documentation

Next-Generation Permit to Build & Infrastructure Automation

• Co-design and implement next-generation Permit to Build automation
• Integrate:
• LLM-based reasoning
• Automated validations
• Metadata ingestion
• Model-driven architecture tooling
• Reduce manual review, cycle time, and operational risk through automation

Deliverables

• Updated Structurizr workspaces with automated generation scripts
• AI-augmented architecture specifications and decision templates
• DCMS SRP artifacts, PAA onboarding templates, and conformance checks
• Updated Archetype 2.0 patterns and enterprise technology direction documentation
