Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business objectives and technical requirements to propose effective network architecture solutions.
- Design and implement hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity integrating on-premises data center networks with AWS services.
- Architect secure, high-performance, and compliant network solutions aligned with enterprise standards and governance.
- Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to support seamless cloud migrations and optimized network operations.
- Establish and enforce network governance standards and best practices for long-term scalability and reliability.
- Ensure routing, segmentation, and security policies align with enterprise architecture principles.
- Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies for mission-critical workloads.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis for proposed network solutions.
- Document system designs, user requirements, and technical specifications.
- Extensive experience in network architecture across AWS and on-premises environments.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network segmentation, and firewall technologies.
- Hands-on experience with hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN, AWS Direct Connect, Transit Gateway).
- Expertise in network security principles, including encryption, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in high availability design, load balancing, and failover strategies.
- Experience with network automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible, including CI/CD integration.
- Multi-cloud networking experience (Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and advanced security models.
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
- Familiarity with network observability and monitoring tools (NetFlow, AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus).
- Understanding of cloud network cost optimization strategies.
- Relevant certifications, including:
- AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty
- Cisco CCNP / CCIE
- Azure Network Engineer Associate
