We are looking for a dedicated Systems Administrator to join our team in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will oversee and maintain a multi-location network and telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and optimal performance. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team while supporting end-users and managing critical IT systems.
Responsibilities:
Monitor, maintain, and optimize network performance to ensure uninterrupted access across multiple locations.
Diagnose hardware issues and coordinate with vendors for timely repairs or replacements.
Develop and implement solutions to enhance network security, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Provide Tier 3 technical support for IT and telephony networks, ensuring timely resolution of issues in compliance with service level agreements.
Manage user access rights and network server backups to maintain data security and disaster recovery readiness.
Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software as required.
Troubleshoot network-related issues and assist end-users with hardware and software challenges.
Ensure compliance with software licensing requirements for all organizational applications.
Document and adhere to established network management procedures, contributing to process improvements.
Collaborate on the evaluation and integration of new technologies to enhance system operations.
Requirements
Proficiency in Cisco networking, including routers, switches, and Meraki firewalls.
Experience with telecommunications systems, such as RingCentral and Dedicated Internet Access.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server, Office 365, and Active Directory administration.
Hands-on experience with SAN (Storage Area Network) and Hyper-V technologies.
Familiarity with backup systems such as Unitrends and cloud disaster recovery solutions.
A Cisco CCNA certification is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure situations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and user support.
