Job Overview:
- Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on data platforms, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of cloud-based systems through infrastructure automation and monitoring.
- Administer and manage AWS cloud environments including VPC, subnets, NACLs, security groups, and secure connectivity.
- Deploy and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, ELB, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and EKS.
- Support AWS-based data platforms and data solutions in production environments.
- Implement and manage containerized workloads using AWS ECS and Fargate.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automation scripts using Ansible and Python.
- Write and maintain Linux Bash scripts for system automation and administration.
- Utilize AWS CLI for configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps toolchains.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and configurations.
- 8 10 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on AWS cloud administration experience.
- Strong expertise in AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, ELB, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and EKS.
- Hands-on experience with containers using AWS ECS and Fargate.
- Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Ansible and/or Python for automation.
- Strong scripting skills in Linux Bash.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and tools like Jenkins.
- At least one AWS certification related to administration.
- Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake.
- Familiarity with additional automation tools and scripting languages.
- Experience with tools such as Crucible or similar code review platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, production environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and networking concepts.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to system reliability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines.
