Work Location – Hybrid - This is a hybrid full-time position requiring one or two days in the office (Providence RI) per week with the remainder of the work week being remote.

- Experience needed – Procurement - Strategic Sourcing and Contracts (RFPs and contract negotiation, supply chain management) Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Education requirement – Bachelor''s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in applicable field

- MUST have skills - project management, communication/negotiation, critical/analytical thinking.
- Preferred – Experience in a university setting, knowledge of automated procurement and contract management systems and database software.
- Project Management / facilitation of the bid process for assigned sourcing events from initiation to award to contract development/negotiation/execution and post-award performance and contract management using e-sourcing, project management, and contract lifecycle management systems; coordinate / collaborate with campus stakeholders / departmental representatives and/or review committee members through development of requirements and evaluation / selection criteria, as well as the review & selection process.
- Conduct market research and data / supplier spend analysis as applicable.
- Perform analysis of proposals/bids to provide consultative guidance on ethics, process, and supplier selection based on agreed-upon criteria.
- Support supplier and contract transition process, maintaining continuity of service during transition from one supplier to another (ensuring compliance with applicable contractual requirements).
- Review and approve purchase requisitions in Workday financial system to ensure that documentation requirements are met and to determine appropriateness of purchase according to the University’s policies that support procurement transactions.
- Attend various meetings related to assigned projects or other departmental priority initiatives.
- Other procurement-related projects and tasks as assigned.
