Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Technology Designer / Technology Project Manager to join a growing multidisciplinary engineering team in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This role involves designing and managing technology systems across multiple projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer systems including telecommunications, electronic security, audiovisual, network, Wi-Fi, and related technologies
- Prepare drawings, specifications, contract documents, and design calculations using AutoCAD and Revit
- Conduct job site inspections to assess project progress and existing conditions
- Manage multiple projects (10 simultaneously) and ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders on project requirements
- Research technical product information and ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Support team development, process improvements, and knowledge sharing
- 5 15 years of experience in Technology Engineering / Project Management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam Studio
- Experience handling full project lifecycle (Schematic Design to Close-Out)
- Strong knowledge of California Building Codes and National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- 10 years of experience in a similar role
- EIT/PE License or progress toward certification
- RCDD or CSI (CDT) certification
- Experience with security systems, audiovisual systems, DAS, Wi-Fi, and related technologies
- Experience working with government agency requirements
- Mentorship experience and leadership capabilities
