job summary:

Our Client is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Owner to lead their Supply Chain Management space.

The role combines strategic vision with deep technical expertise. It is a Senior-level role that shapes the product strategy, backlog, architecture, and execution. This role guides the development teams in building software capabilities with the highest business and customer impact. The Senior Product Owner is accountable for the delivery of business outcomes for multiple products spanning great complexity.

This role will be instrumental in driving the development and execution alignment with a shift to new modern Supply Chain systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with Forecasting, Replenishment, Allocation and Order Management systems, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in product management.

responsibilities:

• Oversees and guides Product Execution
  
  

Lead the requirements intake and documentation, participate in SCRUM ceremonies, and guide the delivery of

product features for the Supply Chain Management space, working across teams to align and ensure we are

taking the right steps across both business and technology to move forward successfully. Manage and update

the product roadmap based upon priorities and team capacity. Contribute to quarterly PI sessions.

• Meets with stakeholders to gain clarity on business needs and drives stakeholder alignment
  
  

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program managers, account managers, and business units, to ensure successful product development and implementation.

• Collaborates to create Product Strategies and vision
  
  

Help define and drive the product strategy and vision for the Supply Chain Management space, ensuring

alignment with organizational goals and customer needs.

• Manage initiatives, epics and stories through backlog refinement and management
  
  

Continuously groom the backlog, pulling the most important items to the front. Create initiatives, epics and

stories providing clear guidance for the team on what is required. Manage governance for modernization to ensure we don't update the legacy systems unless necessary while we are moving to new modernized system.

• Defines technical metrics and aligns on success criteria
  
  

Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and drive continuous

improvement.

• Utilizes Discovery Techniques - Ongoing: Apply discovery techniques such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to uncover user needs and validate product concepts.
  
  

qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on Supply Chain.
• Strong technical background with a deep understanding of cloud computing, data integration, and AI/ML.
• Retail experience with Supply Chain focus.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in discovery techniques to gather user insights and validate product hypotheses.
• Agile Certified
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
