Role: Sr. Network Engineer
Location - Richardson, TX (Onsite)
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support day-to-day operations of enterprise network infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, maintaining network performance, and ensuring high availability in a 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, WAN, and network security
- Troubleshoot network incidents, outages, and performance issues
- Manage firewall configurations, VPNs, and security policies
- Perform vulnerability remediation (patching/config updates)
- Monitor network performance and identify risks/single points of failure
- Maintain network infrastructure (SD-WAN, wireless, SolarWinds, etc.)
- Collaborate with IT teams and provide documentation/support
- 5 years of network engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), QoS, HSRP/GLBP
- Experience with Cisco CLI, firewalls, VPNs, and multi-site networks
- Knowledge of SD-WAN and multi-datacenter environments
- CCNP preferred
- Willingness for on-call (24/7 rotation) and after-hours support
