Position Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage Cisco DNA Center templates to support network automation and standardized deployments.
- Architect and implement advanced network segmentation strategies to enhance security and optimize performance across enterprise environments.
- Lead modernization efforts for network hardware, ensuring infrastructure is aligned with industry standards and emerging technologies.
- Plan and execute routing and switching refresh initiatives to maintain a robust and scalable network infrastructure.
- Deploy, support, and troubleshoot Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD WAN) solutions utilizing Cisco and VeloCloud technologies.
- Configure, manage, and maintain next-generation network security appliances, with a focus on Palo Alto firewalls, to protect critical assets.
- Administer Infoblox solutions for DNS, DHCP, and IP address management to ensure reliability and efficiency within the network.
- Effectively troubleshoot complex network issues, determining root cause and implementing lasting solutions in high-availability environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders to support organizational goals.
- Support geographically dispersed locations in collaboration with telecommunications providers and local operations teams.
- Strong expertise with Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, SD WAN, and network security.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco DNA Center for automation, template development, and network management.
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Palo Alto firewalls.
- Professional experience with Infoblox for DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing network segmentation strategies.
- Experience in modernizing and upgrading network hardware and infrastructure to maintain business agility and continuity.
- Track record of effectively planning and executing routing and switching refresh projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) solutions, particularly with Cisco and VeloCloud platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills for diagnosing issues in complex network environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capability to interact effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to support widespread enterprise environments, including work with telecom providers and local operations.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages (such as Python) is preferred.
- Knowledge of industry-standard network security best practices and implementation methodologies.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools is advantageous.
