Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Architect for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role requires a Java Architect with distributed database expertise to work with high-performance, data-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of distributed database concepts and technologies and experience designing solutions on cloud platforms for real-time analytics.

Requirements:

• Strong Experience as a Java Architect
• Strong proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of distributed database concepts and technologies (NoSQL, NewSQL, distributed SQL)
• Experience with data modeling, partitioning, replication, and sharding
• Understanding of data consistency models (ACID, BASE, CAP theorem)
• Expertise in performance optimization techniques for distributed systems
• Experience designing and implementing distributed database solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience developing applications that leverage real-time data processing capabilities of distributed databases
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  
  

Pay range: $63.24 - $71.24 per hour
