- The Solution Architect acts as a trusted digital transformation advisor, leading the design and delivery of AI-enabled Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions with a strong focus on Agentforce, Data Cloud, and intelligent automation. The role bridges business strategy and execution by translating sales and customer engagement objectives into scalable, governed, and enterprise-ready Salesforce architectures.
- The architect works closely with business stakeholders, sales operations, IT, security, and delivery teams to enable agent-assisted selling, sales process automation, and AI-driven decision support, while ensuring alignment with enterprise governance, security, and agile delivery models.
- Responsibilities of Solution Architect
- Serve as the lead Solution Architect for AI driven Sales Cloud and Agentforce initiatives, aligning business outcomes with Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Define and design Agentforce use cases including sales assistance, lead qualification, opportunity support, task automation, and guided selling.
- Architect end to end solutions leveraging Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, Einstein AI, and enterprise integrations.
- Design AI orchestrated sales processes incorporating human in the loop controls, escalation paths, and explainable AI behaviour.
- Establish AI governance by design, including prompt strategy, guardrails, auditability, access controls, and compliance alignment.
- Decompose business requirements into clearly defined Work Packages, supporting estimation, prioritisation, and incremental delivery.
- Collaborate with Technical Architects and delivery teams to guide configuration, integrations, and release planning.
- Review solution designs and proactively identify architectural, data, security, and scalability risks.
- Support PI aligned delivery, demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions, refining solutions based on feedback and outcomes.
- Stay current on Salesforce AI roadmap, Agentforce capabilities, and industry best practices relevant to sales transformation.
- Competencies
- 12 years of CRM and enterprise solution architecture experience, with strong Salesforce expertise.
- Proven experience designing and delivering Sales Cloud solutions, including lead to opportunity and opportunity to close processes.
- Hands on exposure to Salesforce AI capabilities, including Agentforce, Einstein, prompt based automation, or AI assisted workflows.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, Data Cloud concepts, and API led integration patterns.
- Experience defining and implementing AI governance frameworks, including human oversight and compliance driven controls.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, scalable, and secure Salesforce architectures.
- Experience operating in SAFe / enterprise Agile environments with PI based execution models.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business, IT, security, and delivery teams
