Role: Software Product Acquisition Manager

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76101 (Onsite)

What You Will Do

As the Software Product Acquisition Manager, you will oversee supplier software development efforts, influence technical decisions, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of software products.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide engineering management and technical oversight of supplier software development activities for the EO/IR IPT
• Coordinate supplier software deliveries and provide regular project status updates to Program Management
• Manage Software Problem Anomaly Report (SPAR) metrics and support issue investigation and resolution
• Maintain EO/IR data within the Air System Restrictions Database (ASRD) and associated flight-series data modules
• Update and publish EO/IR Interface Requirements Specifications and message format definitions using the Signal Interface Management System (SIMS)
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a STEM-related technical discipline
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated discipline and experience with software development processes and methodologies
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience using JIRA
• Supplier or subcontractor technical management experience
• Minimum of 5 years of prior software development experience using one or more of the following languages:
• C, C , C#, and/or Python
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tools such as JIRA, SW Depot, CART, and Automet
• Experience working with SIMS
• Experience managing or coordinating supplier technical performance
