Contract to Hire opening for a Software Asset & Vendor Management Manager to oversee enterprise software licensing, vendor relationships, and software asset lifecycle management. This role will ensure software license compliance, vendor performance, and cost optimization across the organization.

This position requires a hands-on Software Asset Management (SAM) professional with experience using ServiceNow SAM Pro and working with major enterprise software vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage the software asset lifecycle (acquisition, deployment, compliance, renewal, retirement)
• Maintain and optimize software licensing and utilization across the enterprise
• Support software license audits, compliance reviews, and vendor true-ups
• Manage relationships with software vendors and internal stakeholders
• Utilize ServiceNow SAM Pro for asset tracking, reporting, and workflow management
• Assist with Effective License Position (ELP) analysis and vendor negotiations
  
  

Requirements

• 3 years of Software Asset Management (SAM) experience
• 3 years of vendor management experience
• Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro
• Experience supporting software licensing audits and compliance
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with Oracle, Adobe, or Smartsheet licensing
• Experience with software lifecycle planning (EOL/EOS, upgrades, patching)
