Job Title: Bilingual SOC Analyst

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Hybrid – 3 days onsite/week)

(Alternate locations may be considered: Tempe, AZ)

Duration: 24 Months

Employment Type: Contract (C2C / W2)

Bill Rate: $55–$60/hour on C2C or W2

Work Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Overview

Client is seeking an experienced Bilingual SOC Analyst (English & Japanese) to support its Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). This role involves Tier 1 and Tier 2 security operations, primarily supporting cybersecurity activities aligned with Japanese business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and triage security alerts following established procedures
• Escalate incidents appropriately based on severity and impact
• Execute incident response playbooks and document findings thoroughly
• Collaborate with global GSOC teams across multiple regions
• Maintain adherence to GSOC operational standards and frameworks
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Security, including SOC operations
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (required) with cultural fluency
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring and incident response
• Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST and MITRE ATT&CK
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Understanding of Business Operations Transfer (BOT) models
• Prior experience working in global or distributed SOC teams
  
  

Work Schedule

• Front Half Shift: Sunday – Wednesday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
• Back Half Shift: Wednesday – Saturday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
