Introduction: We are currently seeking a Senior Technology Architect with expertise in Kafka and Confluent to join our team in Richardson, TX. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in Kafka/Confluent and will play a crucial role in designing and implementing Kafka-based solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Confluent Kafka solutions
- Utilize Kafka Internals, KRaft, Kafka Streams, Flink, and ksqlDB for data processing
- Architect event-driven architecture solutions
- Work with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, along with Kubernetes for deployment
- Develop applications using Java, Python, and Scala
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the Kafka ecosystem
Required Skills:
- Confluent Kafka (Must Have)
- Knowledge of Kafka Internals and KRaft
- Experience with Kafka Streams, Flink, and ksqlDB
- Proficiency in designing event-driven architecture solutions
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes
- Programming skills in Java, Python, and Scala
- Experience with AWS MSK and Cloudera Kafka
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices
- Familiarity with Ansible and CFK
