We are seeking a Senior Software Test Analyst for a contract position. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through rigorous testing and analysis. This role involves working in a hybrid model, requiring onsite presence two days a week, and is based in the Dimondale, Michigan area.
Key Responsibilities
Experience:
This is a hybrid position with a non-negotiable work schedule. Required onsite days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Remote work is available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This assignment is an initial one-year contract with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

- Perform comprehensive QA requirements analysis and contribute to test planning.
- Execute test cases and meticulously track defects.
- Utilize QA tracking tools for managing the testing lifecycle.
- Conduct backend functional testing to validate system integrity.
- Review, adapt, and enhance test plan templates to ensure complete test coverage for assigned incidents.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in QA requirements analysis and test planning.
- 5 years of QA execution and defect tracking experience.
- 5 years of experience with backend functional testing.
- Candidates must be located within a 90-minute commute of Dimondale, Michigan at the time of submission.
- 5 years of experience using QA tracking tools such as Rational, HP ALM, or similar platforms.
