Company: Metal Manufacturing industry

Position: Senior Software Architect / Senior Software Engineer

Type: Full Time Direct Hire - onsite 5X every other Friday remote after 90 Days

Location: Rock Hill, SC 29730

Salary: 100k-140K base

Interviews : 3 rounds : two over teams and final onsite

Role Overview:

• Strong hands-on software development background with proven technical leadership
• Will directly mentor 1 Software Engineer
• Works closely with a 12-member Automation team
• Experience supporting systems tied to physical products is highly preferred (manufacturing, industrial, hardware-adjacent environments)
  
  

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in Python, C#, C , or C (any combination)
• PLC exposure/experience required
• Strong experience with Azure
• DevOps experience required (e.g., Jira, CI/CD processes, release management)
  
  

Industry Background:

• Industry experience strongly preferred, especially candidates who have worked with physical products
• Open to any industry as long as experience includes real-world product or manufacturing interaction.
