Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a servant leader for Agile teams and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies.
- Coach teams toward Agile maturity, self-organization, and accountability.
- Remove team-level impediments and escalate organizational blockers when necessary.
- Partner with Product Owners, Agile Coaches, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Build psychologically safe, collaborative, and high-performing team environments.
- Resolve conflicts and address resistance to Agile practices.
- Facilitate meaningful retrospectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Shield teams from external disruptions and maintain focus on sprint goals and commitments.
- Ensure adherence to organizational Agile frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master supporting multiple Agile teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM II or higher) required.
- Strong experience building self-organizing Agile teams and improving team velocity and delivery predictability.
- Proven ability to manage team conflicts, foster collaboration, and drive cultural transformation.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies, stakeholder management, change management, and conflict resolution.
- Experience coaching teams while operating within established Agile governance frameworks and playbooks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Advanced Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent.
- Experience working within government agencies or highly regulated industries.
- Build empowered and accountable Agile teams.
- Drive sprint planning, execution, and delivery excellence.
- Maintain transparent impediment tracking and resolution processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and learning.
- Support Agile transformation and maturity initiatives across the program.
