Job Title: Senior QA & Business Analyst

Location: Richmond, VA 23219

Mode of work : Onsite - 1 Days and 1 day remote

Minimum Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in business and systems analysis, requirements documentation, system development life cycle, and agile application development methodologies such as Scrum.
• Extensive experience defining and documenting user requirements from multiple sources, with the ability to prepare complex documents to effectively relay these requirements to both business users and developers.
• Extensive experience supporting application development, maintenance, and implementation, systems analysis and design, and business process improvement.
• Extensive experience defining and documenting business processes and mapping or developing processes in a new system.
• Experience manually performing testing on a web application.
• Considerable experience in testing complex systems to determine that business needs are met.
• Ability to write and execute test plans and scripts according to identified standards.
• Experience conducting meetings and documenting project decisions.
• Ability to identify and document bugs or insufficiencies in a web application.
• Ability to successfully participate in a development team, help foster a team environment, and effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with web application software development projects using .Net.
• Familiarity with documenting requirements in Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
  
  

Must have:

• 8 years of extensive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, requirements documentation, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Agile application development.
• 8 years of experience gathering, analyzing, defining, and documenting user requirements from multiple stakeholders and sources, including preparation of complex functional and technical documentation.
• 8 years of experience supporting application development, system maintenance, implementation activities, systems analysis and design, and business process improvement initiatives.
• 8 years of experience defining, documenting, mapping, and improving business processes, including development of workflows for new system implementations.
• 8 years of experience conducting testing and validation of complex systems to ensure business requirements and operational needs are successfully met.
• 8 years of experience facilitating meetings, coordinating with stakeholders, and documenting project discussions, action items, and key decisions.
• 8 years of proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional development teams, foster a positive team environment, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• 2 years of familiarity with web application development projects utilizing Microsoft .NET technologies.
• 2 years of familiarity with documenting and managing requirements using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  
  

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
