Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager Data Governance to lead and drive enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and program execution capabilities to ensure successful implementation of data governance strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale Data Governance programs across the organization
- Define program roadmap, strategy, and execution plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Business units
- Drive implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards
- Manage program timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals
- Provide regular status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Drive data quality, metadata management, and data stewardship initiatives
- 10 years of experience in Program/Project Management with a focus on Data Governance
- Strong knowledge of Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Quality frameworks
- Proven experience managing enterprise-level programs
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong experience in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services industry
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., BCBS 239, CCPA, GDPR)
- Experience with data governance tools like Collibra, Alation, or Informatica
- PMP, PgMP, or similar certification preferred
