Job Title: Senior Oracle DBA (EBS / RAC / Exadata)

Location: Hybrid – Oakland, CA (2 days onsite per week)

Job Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire

Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 per year

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Database & Applications DBA to support a mission-critical Oracle environment in a high-availability enterprise setting. This role requires strong hands-on experience managing both Oracle databases and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) systems.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle 19c, RAC, Exadata, and EBS 12.1/12.2, along with experience supporting production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle 19c RAC databases
• Manage and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (12.1 / 12.2) environments
• Perform database and application cloning, patching, and upgrades
• Configure and support Data Guard and RMAN backup/recovery
• Monitor and optimize database and application performance
• Support middleware technologies including WebLogic, Tomcat, ORDS/APEX
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, business users, infrastructure teams)
• Ensure system availability, performance, and security in a 24/7 environment
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA / Oracle Apps DBA
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
• Experience with Oracle RAC and high-availability environments
• Hands-on experience with Data Guard, RMAN, patching, and cloning
• Strong experience with Linux (Red Hat / Oracle Linux)
• Experience supporting production-critical systems
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Exadata / Engineered Systems
• Exposure to EBS modules (HR, Payroll, Financials)
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud (OCI) or AWS
• Scripting experience (Shell, PL/SQL)
