Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM MQ Administration
  • Deep understanding of messaging concepts and patterns
  • HA/DR implementation experience
  • MQ Security (TLS, CHLAUTH, OAM)
  • Linux/Unix system administration
  • Production support & incident management experience

Good to Have

  • IBM MQ on OpenShift / Kubernetes
  • Cloud experience (AWS / Azure)
  • WebSphere Application Server integration
  • Observability tools (Splunk, Datadog)
  • Automation & scripting expertise

Certifications (Preferred)

  • IBM Certified System Administrator – MQ
  • Red Hat OpenShift Certification
  • Cloud Certifications (AWS preferred)
