RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Java Developer in Phoenix, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
• Build and enhance microservices using Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring Security, Spring Batch, and Spring Transaction Management
• Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs, including handling JSON, WSDL, and deployment on JBOSS and Apache Tomcat servers
• Embed SQL queries and manage OAuth tokens within application code
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment using tools like JIRA, Jenkins, and Maven
• Work with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and CI/CD pipelines
• Utilize development environments such as IntelliJ and Eclipse
• Deploy and manage applications on Cloud Servers, including AWS
• Work with Cassandra and other modern database technologies
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on programming experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of Java development experience
• Proficiency in Java 11, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
• Experience building microservices and working with SOAP/REST APIs
• Familiarity with JBOSS, Apache Tomcat, WSDL, and JSON
• Strong understanding of SQL, OAuth, and secure coding practices
• Exposure to Jenkins, JIRA, Maven, CI/CD, SOA, XML, IntelliJ, Eclipse, and AWS
• Experience with Cassandra or similar NoSQL databases
• The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a passion for building reliable, scalable, and long-lasting solutions in cloud-based environments
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
