Job Details
Responsibilities -
- Lead electrical design efforts on medium to large mission critical and data center projects
- Collaborate closely with clients, internal design teams, and contractors
- Oversee and mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
- Develop and review electrical system designs including power distribution and redundancy strategies
- Prepare fee proposals and assist with project budgeting and financial tracking
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
- Support project execution from concept through construction
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licensed Professional Engineer required
- 16 or more years of progressive electrical engineering experience
- Proven experience leading mission critical or data center projects
- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems including UPS, generators, medium voltage switchgear, and transfer switches
- Experience with electrical system topologies such as Tier III, Tier IV, N plus 1, and 2N
- Familiarity with codes and standards including NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and ANSI TIA
- Experience with SCADA systems and automated control of critical equipment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to mentor and develop junior staff
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain or hold a TS SCI clearance
- Experience with ETAP or SKM
- Revit experience, especially in complex power system design
