Senior EHR Data Analyst (Contract 12 Months)

Location: Travel to client sites as needed (event-based, advance notice provided)

Engagement: W2 only (no C2C / vendor submissions)

Duration: 12 months with strong likelihood of extension

Overview

Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking a Senior EHR Data Analyst to support complex healthcare IT initiatives, including metrics development, system deployment support, and stakeholder reporting. This role sits at the intersection of clinical operations, data analysis, and technical teams, ensuring data-driven decisions align with real-world clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver metrics-driven analyses, dashboards, and executive briefings to support program and deployment decision-making
• Analyze complex healthcare data sets and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• Serve as a liaison between clinical stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring system configuration aligns with clinical workflows
• Support project planning, activity tracking, and risk/issue mitigation related to deployment and program metrics
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across project objectives
• Prepare, edit, and review formal project documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
• Present findings in meetings and workshops and actively contribute to stakeholder discussions
  
  

Required Qualifications

• W2 eligibility required (no C2C or third-party submissions)
• Ability to travel as needed with advance notice
• Strong understanding of healthcare data sources and their application to monitoring, analysis, and modeling
• Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and metrics development within healthcare environments
• Experience supporting healthcare IT system deployments (EHR experience strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of clinical workflow assessment and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with change management principles in healthcare settings
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing polished project deliverables
