Overview:
The Instructor will support the safe and reliable operation of the electric distribution system by preparing and certifying system operators. This role is responsible for coordinating and implementing all phases of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) for distribution operations.
The instructor analyzes operational needs, job and task requirements, and translates them into effective training, evaluation, and simulation-based learning materials. This role delivers technical instruction that supports initial operator certification, ongoing system-operations responsibilities, and continuing education for experienced operators and operations staff. Through high-quality training programs, this position plays a critical role in building a skilled workforce that supports operational excellence and grid reliability.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Electrical Engineering or training discipline and five (5) years technical training or operations experience
- In lieu of a Bachelors degree, combination of college coursework and experience totaling nine (9) years in related technical electric utility operating experience (e.g., electrical, generator) or grid operations training experience or system operating experience in a distribution control center or field crew experience
