Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Palantir Foundry to support the CCS100 Fusion Team in building scalable data solutions for carbon capture systems on the US Gulf Coast.

Job Overview:

• Work on building and optimizing data layers using Palantir Foundry for a large-scale carbon capture platform
• Convert existing data models into Palantir Ontology representations
• Act as a Palantir SME for the team and contribute to architecture and design decisions
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Quickly understand current CCS100 data architecture and convert it into Palantir Ontology
• Suggest improvements to data models for performance, scalability, and flexibility
• Build and manage data ingestion and export pipelines between Ontology and external systems
• Implement data transformations and validations using Foundry capabilities
• Develop interface code and examples to enable integration with Ontology data
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience in building data-heavy applications and working as a Data Engineer
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry focusing on data modeling and Ontology Manager
• Strong Python programming skills for data processing and transformation
• Ability to understand complex data models and software architectures quickly
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience working in Agile environments
  
  

Top 3 Required Skills:

• Strong Data Engineering skills with experience building complex data applications
• Palantir Foundry with focus on Ontology Manager and data modeling
• Python programming
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional Palantir Foundry tools such as Workshop and Quiver
• Oil & Gas industry experience
